Business Development Executive (AZ)

Gateway O.T is looking to add experienced logistics professionals to the Executive Team. Gateway looks to continue our rapid growth and we have an immediate need to fill an Executive level position that is responsible for direct selling and creating long term strategies to increase market visibility and drive revenue through a new sales agent program.

We are looking for a smart, results driven, logistics Business Development Executive to lead and develop a national corporate sales program. This executive position will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing from the ground up, a national sales agent program. The program will be designed to support both the asset based and brokerage sides of the business.

The position requires extensive trucking industry experience, preferably in both sales and operations. Truckload and LTL sales experience with either an asset-based carrier or a freight brokerage company is preferred. A good working knowledge of 3PL warehousing services and pricing structures would be a plus for this position.

Knowledge in relevant IT systems such as ERP, TMS, WMS, CRM systems is needed for success.

Knowledge in relevant sales support practices such as Pricing, RFP and RFQ details, Account Implementation and customer KPIs

Proven track record of profitable sales, short term and long term strategic planning, and management of contract or project logistics accounts. 

Gateway is positioned to offer some company equity to the right individual(s) who can bring to the company the right mix of skills and assets we need to add at the Executive level. We are looking to bolster our company 3PL logistics resume with the right individual(s).
